Working with moving image and animation has always been a passion of mine. From the age of 12 I've been experimenting and teaching myself the skills I would need to edit, film, photograph and design for any scenario be it personal, public or commissioned. Using Powerpoint I started off making short, stop motion animations to show my family and have grown through experience learning the importance of quality, software and contextual knowledge which has got me to where I am today.
Below is just about everything I am proud of creating from short YouTube Videos to client-based animation and film accompanied by a short paragraph to give the context of the finished product.

Although Motion Graphics has been something I have been introduced to recently, I think I am already getting the hang of it. My background in graphic design has really helped and I have known the basics of After Effects for a long while now.
There are a few videos here which show different techniques or effects I have been working on in amoungst all the other work I do. Soon there will be an even better example uploaded as I am currently doing a Motion Graphics brief for my media class.
I have done animation in the past however not on such a professional platform so I am keen to learn all about it and would actually like it to play a big part in my future career as it combines my love for graphic design with my passion for creative media.
3D Motion Tracking text

This short clip was made in After Effects. It is using a slighty different Motion Tracking Technique than before as I am using quite a detailed track to do something quite simple.
First I have a the base clip being a short, astetically pleasing video of an older style camera facing lens up. I took this into After Effects and made a detailed 3D track of the scene. I then placed a solid in the 3D space and a camera to hold this info. Lastly I used a free plug-in called "Orient World" to make the solid I just placed the ground plane for the scene.
Finally I made a simple text layer and made it a 3D layer. I then copy and pasted the position values of the ground plane to the text to match up the perspective and added some blur when it lost focus.
Bright eyes cinematography - 2017

This short animation was created in Adobe After Effects using Trapcode Particular Effects along with stroke paths to create a very professional yet unique effect.
This video would play before every one of their videos so it needed to be relatable as well as very high quality. I made sure to render it as HD as possible and used little cg lights to create the effect of them writing the lines which was also a hint towards the "Bright" in the company title.
Finally the smokey background gave a bit more depth to the video as well as showing the brightness of the lights as they lit up the smoke.
Maverick survival - 2017

This is a short advert where I was tasked to edit their pre-recorded footage to introduce Maverick Survival to it's target audience in a short, yet interesting way.
I knew this was going to be quick so I made sure to chose a non-copyrighted fast-paced background tune to edit the footage to. I liked the fast beat as it allowed me to "Cut to the Beat" making the transitions more noticeable and giving off the impression, to the viewers, that if you enjoy the video you're definitely going to enjoy the course as this is a tiny part of it.
Finally, I added an slick animation of the name at the start and then a final show of the logo at the end to make sure the viewers remembers the company which was the main goal of the video.

This video is probably the video that I am proudest to say I made back when I was creating gaming videos on YouTube. This video is an amazing example of the other techniques and skills I have up my sleeve that never seem to fit in with any of my college projects or latest design videos.
The main skill/technique in this video shows of my love of Cinema 4D and After Effects 3D tracker in which I use in the beginning and the end of this video. At the beginning I used After Effects built-in 3D camera tracker and text to transform, what would've been, 2D flat titles into awesome 3D text which is integrated into the video scene.
